DANA DIAZ, PH.D.

Assistant Professor

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University. My research uses MRI to examine the neural mechanisms of childhood anxiety and OCD across the spectrum of severity. Much of this work centers on cognitive control over emotion as an early target for treatment. By identifying individual differences that shape risk and treatment response, my work aims to inform more precise approaches to prevention and intervention.
